Complete eCommerce Strategies
The decision to engage a software developer to design and prepare a ‘shop window’ for your company is one that is crucial to your company’s success and with so many options it’s essential that you connect with a company who will listen and understand your requirements.
It’s easy to impress with verbal shorthand and buzz words, anyone can ‘talk the talk’ and there are many companies that adopt this approach but when it comes to the crunch, can you trust them to ‘walk the walk’, it’s your decision.
At Opal Logic our ethos is to keep things simple and straight to the point, and that is ‘the success of your business and what we can do to help you achieve it’. Being client driven we recognise that your success is our success; it’s as simple as that.
It is our policy to be ‘open and up front’ with our clients with no hidden costs or clauses that could later be misunderstood or cause friction. Therefore once Opal Logic has been accepted as the ‘solution provider’ it is essential, that given a broad outline of what is required, agreement is reached on the lead time and cost.
To ensure a smooth transition from concept to delivery we follow a simple 5 stage plan designed to guarantee a thorough understanding and execution of the project to the client’s satisfaction.
1. Consultation
- To fully understand what your company requires it is essential that we work as a team with your relevant key personnel to create a programme which suits all perceived requirements and more. To achieve this we will arrange to meet at your offices where we can discuss how best to provide your company with a distinct image and a suitable presentation. To ensure co-ordination throughout the development of the programme, a project manager is assigned to your account. It will be his responsibility to ensure that all aspects of the work meet with your requirements and to provide you with a point of contact.
2. Proposal
- Having assessed your requirements our team will develop a package to the agreed specification and, liaising with your nominated personnel, will provide a solution for your approval.
3. Approval
- On completion, the project manager responsible for the development of your solution, having ensured that the programme ‘ticks all the boxes’ will contact you with a view of accessing your product’s details and content for review by our online marketing team (OMT). Their job is to ensure the programme is fine tuned to optimum performance based upon the latest Search Engine results thus providing an immediate sales impact when your site goes live.
4. Delivery
- When the OMT have completed the final checks, the Project Manager will oversee the set-up and configuration of the programme onto the dedicated server which will host your site. Tests will then be carried out to ensure satisfactory performance and security, and subject to the correction of any irregularities that may occur, will then be ‘signed off’ by the Project Manager and handed over to the ‘client team’.
5. Support
- Training will be given to the relevant personnel regarding the Content Management System thus ensuring a thorough understanding of the programme. Once the site goes ‘live’ Opal Logic will provide assistance with any teething problems that may occur and ensure that the site performs to the satisfaction both the Project Manager and the client.
Full ongoing support is available for all Opal Logic’s bespoke solutions; furthermore to ensure that our clients maintain optimal exposure within the ‘market place’ we also provide an ongoing marketing programme designed to retain ‘front line performance’.
